Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Service Engineer (Agricultural) in Ripon, North Yorkshire. The role is full time and permanent with a salary of £31,000-£35,000 plus overtime opportunities.

Overtime rates apply for evenings, Sundays and bank holidays, with a strong focus on diagnostics, maintenance and on-site repairs. The package features generous holidays, a company vehicle and ongoing training with progression paths within agriculture.

Qualifications

• Hydraulics experience essential with mechanical and electrical capabilities
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding experience advantageous
• Experience with engines and batteries advantageous
• Full UK Drivers Licence is required
• Agricultural industry experience advantageous

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, service and repair on agricultural machinery at customer sites
• Travel to customer sites to maintain and repair machinery to high quality standards
• Carry out diagnostics for mechanical and electrical faults on agricultural equipment
• Work independently on-site and collaborate with colleagues to document solutions
• Handle engines, batteries, hydraulics and related fault findings and repairs
