Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Field Engineer, maintaining and testing a variety of products.
  • Desirable but not essential experience in a field-based role.

Skills

Electrical / Electronic qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent

Field Service Engineer - Kent / Surrey (TW / KT Postcodes)

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team and help us to provide the highest quality repair and maintenance service to a select range of company and third‑party products in an efficient and professional manner. This role is remote and will cover the Kent / Surrey area (TW / KT Postcodes).

What will you be doing in this role?

As a Field Service Engineer at Tunstall, you will need to demonstrate exceptional customer relationship and interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with a variety of customers from vulnerable to elderly and working on equipment in their homes.

The Ideal candidate

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience as a Field Engineer, using your electrical and electronic experience to help maintain / test a variety of products such as emergency lights, fire systems and a variety of our electrical / electronic products.

Any experience of working within a field‑based role would be desirable, but not essential.

Key skills and experience
  • An Electrical / Electronic qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Full Category B UK driving licence (manual).
  • Experience of testing fire systems.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
