Field Service Engineer - Garage Equipment

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Pension + Benefits

Location: North East and North Yorkshire Patch

OTE: £45,000+

Basic salary based on experience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly expanding company seeking several service engineers to strengthen their growing team. You will utilize your mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills working on a diverse range of electromechanical garage equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Attending customer sites from home to service a variety of garage equipment.
2. Working on MOT test lanes, tyre changers, wheel balancers, brake testers, and headlight testers.
3. Fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, installation, and calibration.
4. Mobile/Remote role involving customer interaction.
5. Completing tasks to satisfaction.
6. Problem-solving independently.
7. Participating in call-out rota.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

1. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
2. Experience with inspection and breakdown repairs.
3. Electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis skills.
4. Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
5. Basic computer/IT skills.

Benefits:

1. Salary dependent on experience: £30,000 - £40,000.
2. Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours.
