A specialist HVAC service provider is seeking an HVAC Field Service Engineer near Birmingham. The role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Candidates should have over 3 years of experience, be F-Gas qualified, and possess excellent communication skills. This is a permanent position with a salary range of £35,000 - £50,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide servicing & maintenance.
• Identify and rectify faults.
• Guide customers on technical information.
• Maintain relationships with colleagues and clients.

HVAC Field Service Engineer

My client is a specialist service provider of HVAC machinery and is looking for an Engineer to join their team near Birmingham on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

• 3 years or more of experience in a similar Service/Maintenance Engineering position
• Background in Refrigeration & Air conditioning, with knowledge of refrigeration systems and principles
• F‑Gas qualified
• Knowledge of electrical engineering
• Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge
• Ability to understand system requirements
• Self‑motivated with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Carrying out installation of refrigeration & air conditioning systems
• Providing servicing & maintenance for refrigeration & air conditioning systems
• Identifying and rectifying faults on refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Guidance and assistance to customers as required on functional and technical information
• Maintaining working relationships with colleagues and clients
