Field Service Engineer - Full Training Provided (Medical Equipment)

Location: Cambridgeshire / CB postcode area

Salary: £32,640 + company vehicle + excellent benefits

Are you an experienced Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Electro-Mechanical Engineer looking for a new challenge?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of medical sterilisation equipment, offering full, structured training and long-term career development.

No previous medical engineering experience is required - if you have a solid electro-mechanical service or repair background, we’ll teach you everything you need to succeed.

You must live in the CB postcode area (around Cambridgeshire), as your field service territory will cover the Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk areas.

The Role
  • Service, repair, and maintain a range of sterilisation and decontamination equipment
  • Carry out installations, calibrations, and breakdown repairs at customer sites
  • Provide customer support and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate service records and reports
  • Predominantly covering a targeted territory of the South West of England. However, on occasions you may be asked to travel further afield to provide cover.
What You’ll Need
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Electro-Mechanical Technician or Electro-Mechanical Engineer.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • DBS clearable
  • Willingness to learn – comprehensive manufacturer training provided
