Job summary

Pioneer Selection - Manufacturing & Industry Recruitment Specialists is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to service and repair forklift trucks and mobile plant across Stoke and Telford areas. You will diagnose faults, manage your daily workload, and benefit from manufacturer training to advance your skills.

Applicants should have hands-on servicing experience, a full UK driving licence, and a Level 3 Engineering qualification.

Qualifications

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience.
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Desirable: Previously have worked as a Field Service Engineer.
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain forklift trucks and mobile plant across customer sites.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Plan and manage daily field workload with autonomy.
• Receive ongoing manufacturer training to develop skills.
• Operate across a local customer base with field visits.

Location: Covering Stoke and Telford Areas

Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 Hour or 45 Hour Week available

I'm currently working with a market-leading materials handling business that is looking to add an experienced Field Service Engineer to its growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with a background in Forklift Trucks, MHE or similar mobile equipment to work across a local customer base, carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs.

You'll have the independence to manage your own workload and plan your day, while being supported by an experienced technical team and provided with ongoing manufacturer training to develop your skills further.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience

Essential requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Full UK Driving License
