Field Service Engineer

Are you currently a Field Service Engineer with electrical & mechanical skills, looking for an exciting new opportunity?

Our client, a specialist transport refrigeration company and a key partner within a major global refrigeration network, is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer who is F‑Gas certified.

As a mobile Field Service Engineer, you will be essential to their operations by providing vital repair and maintenance services to customers across the East of Scotland. Your technical expertise will ensure transport refrigeration equipment runs safely and efficiently.

On Offer: Will support with re‑location, fantastic standby, call‑out and overtime rates, company van with flexible personal use, company pension, on‑site parking, cycle to work scheme and ongoing training and development. Relocation package also available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of transport refrigeration units and associated systems.
  • Visit customer sites to complete scheduled maintenance and respond to emergency call‑outs.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently, minimising downtime and ensuring equipment operates reliably.
  • Maintain high standards of performance while delivering excellent customer service.
Who They’re Looking For
  • Hold a valid F‑Gas (2079) qualification, essential.
  • A full, valid UK driving licence, essential.
  • Willingness to be trained on Transport Refrigeration systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem‑solving skills.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
