Salary: £35,000 + Company Van + Overtime + Pension (up to 12%) + Share Scheme

Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with a background in mechanical or automotive equipment? Join our growing team, where your skills will be valued, your development supported, and your work genuinely appreciated.

We're looking for a dedicated Field Service Engineer to cover Scotland. In this field-based role, you'll visit customer sites to install, maintain, calibrate, and repair garage equipment – ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Plan and coordinate your workload to minimise travel time and maximise productivity – working in geographic clusters where possible.
  • Perform equipment diagnosis, repairs, calibration, and installations, including on-site surveys and customer training.
  • Ensure customer equipment complies with legislation through regular calibration and servicing.
  • Deliver top‑tier customer support, responding swiftly to breakdowns and unplanned maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate service records, uploading calibration and breakdown reports weekly.
  • Promote first‑time fixes and quality service delivery, contributing feedback for product and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stay current with new technologies and products.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and follow GEA (Garage Equipment Association) guidelines.
What We're Looking For:
  • A‑Level / BTEC or equivalent qualification or relevant hands‑on experience.
  • Proven background in mechanical, automotive, or similar engineering environments.
  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a technical support role.
  • Strong fault‑finding, problem‑solving, and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel across the North of England, including occasional overnight stays and rare weekend work.
  • Full UK Driving Licence required.
  • Previous experience with garage equipment is highly desirable.
