Field Service Engineer - Garage Equipment

Location: Northwest – Ideally Located in Manchester, Liverpool or surrounding areas

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (OTE: £45,000+) + Overtime + Door to door paid travel + Specialist training

We're recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a well-established garage equipment service team, who specialise in supplying a wide range of equipment, ranging from MOT bays and vehicle lifts to small hand tools.

This is a varied, field-based position involving servicing and repairs for a range of machinery, ideal for an engineer who enjoys being out on the road and working directly with a variety of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out site visits to complete servicing, repairs and reactive maintenance
  • Occasionally assist with the installation and calibration of new equipment (full training provided)
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven background as a field service engineer, ideally within a Garage/Hire equipment background
  • Mechanically and electrically competent, with strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
  • Calibration experience – Desirable
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence required
