Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking skilled Field Service Engineers to join our team in the PE1, PE26-29 area. You will diagnose and repair forklift trucks and warehouse equipment across diverse customer sites, traveling locally and delivering exceptional support.

Qualifications

• Experience as a vehicle technician or mechanical engineer.
• NVQ Level 3 preferred, though not essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable using IT equipment and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance and essential check-ups to keep the fleet running smoothly.
• Travel to various customer locations, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional support.
• Work autonomously while collaborating effectively with team members.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will work across a diverse array of tasks, from pallet trucks and counterbalance machines to very narrow aisle trucks and automated solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners is highly desirable
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification is ideal, though not essential
• Comfortable using IT equipment and maintaining accurate records
• Full UK driving licence
