Job summary

Overview

Position: Field Service Engineer

Location: Nationwide from an office based in Nottinghamshire

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 DOE

We currently have an opportunity available to join our client, a Nottinghamshire-based market leader in the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of water-reuse systems across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to sites nationwide to complete routine servicing and maintenance on rainwater harvesting systems, both manufactured by our client and by other manufacturers
• Completing remedial works on equipment including pumps, motors, control units, filtration systems, and storage tanks where needed
• Liaising directly with commercial clients within sites such as schools, hospitals, offices, and distribution centres

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Electrical Qualification, with additional tickets such as Test and Inspection, 18th Edition, AM2 desirable but not essential
• Full UK driving licence
• Confident in completing electrical fault findings
• Able to work away for a maximum of three nights a week
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks such as lifting pumps

Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary between £32,000 - £35,000, DOE
• Company van with optional personal use
• Door to door travel pay
• No on call rota
• Working hours 8:30am - 5pm, with overtime paid at 1.5x after 6pm and 2x on weekends
• Accommodation paid for whilst staying away, along with an evening meal allowance plus a breakfast/lunch subsidy
