Job summary

A global pharmaceutical company in the UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide field support across various analytical systems. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, conducting staff training, and minimizing downtime in the Tyneside region. Candidates should have a relevant degree and excellent problem-solving skills. This is a 12-month contract position with a daily rate between £200 and £250 PAYE or £265 and £330 Umbrella (Inside IR35).

Overview

CK Group are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer (electro-mechanical), to join a diagnostics company, working in the Tyneside region, on a contract basis for 12 months.

Salary: Per Day: £200 - £250 PAYE or £265 - £330 Umbrella (Inside IR35).

Field Service Engineer Role

Your Background
  • Degree, HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Thorough, up-to-date understanding of the IVD industry
  • Solid experience in implementing best-in-class support
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Resilient and tenacious, able to thrive under pressure
  • Growth mindset with ability to use agile techniques
  • Full UK/EU (or equivalent) driving licence and own transport

Location

This role is field based, covering 3 sites in the Tynecastle area, however we do require someone to be based within a commutable range to the sites.
