An excellent opportunity for an Experienced Field Service Engineer to join a well-established company based in Somersham, Cambridgeshire.

As the authorised UK service partner for leading medical imaging manufacturers, we install, maintain and support a wide range of sophisticated ultrasound and MRI systems used in veterinary practices, referral centres, NHS Trusts and private hospitals throughout the UK.

About the Role:

They are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Field Service Engineer to join our growing Service Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an electronics background who enjoys problem-solving, working with cutting‑edge technology and delivering outstanding customer service.

Whether you're an experienced engineer or currently studying towards an electronics qualification, we'll provide the training and support needed to develop in this role.

The successful candidate must have an HNC / HND or Degree in Electronics or similar with good overall IT skills. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team will have good interpersonal and communication skills. They must be confident and relaxed when speaking with customers, with the ability to adapt and respond to situations as they arise.

You'll receive comprehensive in-house training before progressing to manufacturer‑certified training programmes in Europe.

This role involves regular travel throughout the UK.

On completion of the training, the employee will be expected to perform installation, calibration, repair and servicing on a diverse range of medical equipment.
