Job summary

A leading brand in machinery maintenance is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Hemel Hempstead. You will be responsible for routine maintenance and repairs on construction machinery across the UK. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the Plant industry with an NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance. Salary up to £37.5k, plus benefits including a company van and medical plan.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong background in the Plant industry.
• NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent is essential.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and software including Engine diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on machinery.
• Conduct warranty repairs and damage repairs.
• Travel for site visits across the country.
• Maintain clear reporting of work on engineer iPad.

Main Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer

• Routine maintenance and breakdowns on machinery
• Warranty repairs
• Damage repairs
• Site visits across various areas of the country
• Clear and detailed reporting of work carried out and repairs necessary on engineer iPad
• Manage all above to ensure 100% recovery

Work experience requirements of the Field Service Engineer

• Strong background in Plant industry essential
• NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent
• CSCS card holder is preferred
• Experience of diagnostic tools and computer software including Engine diagnostics
• Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment
• Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness
• Preferred dealer experience but not essential
• Must be able to travel outside of the UK to attend manufacturers training courses
