Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of new equipment.

• Share field experiences with Sales Engineers to resolve challenges.
• Participate in service-improvement initiatives and uphold ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Occasional overnight stays as necessary.

A Field Service Engineer position is available with my client. They are a leader of level and pressure measurement technology and offer solutions to industries as diverse as Offshore & Petrochemical; Chemical & Pharmaceutical; Food & Beverage; Power & Water, Waste Water & Environmental. Their ideal candidate will have proven experience in level and pressure instrumentation commissioning / servicing, and be based in Leicester, Peterborough or surrounding areas.

Field Service Engineer role:

• Commissioning of new equipment.
• Servicing and maintenance of existing systems.
• Customer training on operation, calibration, and fault-finding procedures.
• Offer technical support remotely, advising customers via telephone on fault diagnosis and potential solutions, or arranging for an on-site visit where necessary.
• Share application-related experiences with the Sales Engineers to help resolve recurring challenges and improve customer solutions.
• Participate in continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of support offered to customers.
• Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
• Occasional overnight stays when required.

Field Service Engineer requirement:

• Proven experience within a field service role
• Previous experience in an engineering or electrical industry.
• Experience with level and pressure instrumentation commissioning / servicing would be advantageous.
• Qualified to a relevant electrical engineering qualification.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach in all interactions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Clear and effective collaboration with colleagues, both in-office and remotely (e.g., by phone or email).
• Accurately records and stores data related to activities and customer interactions.
• Full, clean driving licence required.
