Overview

Field Service Engineer, Midlands Based, £45,000 basic, 3-5K O.T available, 3% pension, 31 days of holiday, + Company VAN + fuel card. MON-FRI Days.

Responsibilities

• Working on site utilities and process equipment across a range of hospitals, food factories, commercial offices and manufacturing facilities.
• Mix of electrical and mechanical work - PPM work, fault finding and reactive repairs.
• Strip down and overhaul mechanically.
• Supporting with installation and project work.
• Working on valves, actuators, pumps, panels, hot water, plate heat exchanger.
• Using BMS or SCADA to monitor plant systems.

Requirements / What we’re looking for

• A multiskilled engineer with good fault-finding skills.
• Experience working with industry utilities, building services plant or process systems.
• Confidently working independently at sites.
• Someone who can fault find on boilers, pumps, steam.
• Team player with a good attitude.

Established in 2008, the company has grown its service team and currently sits with 3 field service engineers; a close-knit team with shared workload. With training and progression opportunities, this is the perfect role for a field service engineer to travel within the Midlands area. With limited staying away at most twice a year you will be home every evening.
