Overview

Field Service Engineer, Midlands Based, £45,000 basic, 3-5K O.T available, 3% pension, 31 days of holiday, + Company VAN + fuel card. MON-FRI Days.

Responsibilities
  • Working on site utilities and process equipment across a range of hospitals, food factories, commercial offices and manufacturing facilities.
  • Mix of electrical and mechanical work - PPM work, fault finding and reactive repairs.
  • Strip down and overhaul mechanically.
  • Supporting with installation and project work.
  • Working on valves, actuators, pumps, panels, hot water, plate heat exchanger.
  • Using BMS or SCADA to monitor plant systems.
Requirements / What we’re looking for
  • A multiskilled engineer with good fault-finding skills.
  • Experience working with industry utilities, building services plant or process systems.
  • Confidently working independently at sites.
  • Someone who can fault find on boilers, pumps, steam.
  • Team player with a good attitude.

The Company

We are partnering with a specialist engineering business providing innovative solutions in steam, condensate and HVAC systems. Works with leading organisations in healthcare, food, manufacturing and energy sectors. Established in 2008, the company has grown its service team and currently sits with 3 field service engineers; a close-knit team with shared workload. With training and progression opportunities, this is the perfect role for a field service engineer to travel within the Midlands area. With limited staying away at most twice a year you will be home every evening.
