Job description

Our client seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team in Crawley. This is a full-time, mobile role involving the installation, servicing, and repair of a wide range of perimeter security products.

About the Role
  • Carry out full installations of perimeter security systems, including gates, barriers, and road blockers.
  • Attend existing client sites to conduct routine maintenance, emergency callouts, fault finding, and repairs.
  • Work on both our own products and a variety of systems manufactured by others.
  • Collaborate closely with our administration team to schedule and complete work efficiently.
  • Travel mainly within London and the Southeast, with additional UK-wide visits and opportunities for occasional overseas travel based on experience and expertise.
  • Report directly to the Field Operations Manager.

  • Capable of delivering high‑quality work and following in‑house training procedures.
  • Detail‑oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate records of tasks, inspections, and site visits.
  • Responsible for managing vehicle stock, ensuring tools and materials are ready for upcoming jobs.
Essential Requirements
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Good level of physical fitness due to the demands of the role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to pass security clearances
  • Field Service Engineering experience (Mechanical/Electrical)
  • CSCS Card, IPAF, PASMA (desirable)
