Based in the Midlands region, you’ll start your day from home and travel directly to customer sites across the UK. No two days will look the same – and you’ll be the trusted partner making sure our customers’ automation systems run at their best.

What you’ll do
  • Troubleshooting and repair in the areas of electronics, mechanics, I/O, drive technology, PLC (Beckhoff), software, and computers on our flexible manufacturing systems—be the expert who supports our customers.

  • Maintenance and servicing of flexible manufacturing systems and robot solutions (Fanuc) – keep our technologies running smoothly.

  • Modifications, enhancements, and commissioning of flexible manufacturing systems – play an active role in shaping the future of automation.

  • Support the installation of new automation equipment

  • Assess complex technical requirements and advise customers on solutions


Background in service or maintenance
Electro-mechanical fault-finding skills
Ideally some experience with CNC, robotics, or automation systems (not essential)
Comfortable with software and Windows-based systems

Skills set to be backed up with academic qualifications or time served
Strong social skills – you enjoy working with customers
Determination, initiative, and a hands-on attitude

Highly organized and efficient in managing time and workload
A full UK driving license

High flexibility to travel to customers across the UK & internationally
