Acosta Europe is recruiting a Field Sales Executive to represent Pladis across major retailers in Doncaster, Sheffield and Barnsley. This permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours) offers a base salary with commission and a company car, fuel card and tech provided, making it a dynamic opportunity to drive in-store visibility and performance.

You will visit stores, build relationships, execute promotions, and report insights using 360 data capture tools.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths are required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Proactive, organised, and able to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores daily to deliver KPIs and drive in-store execution.
• Create standout displays and secure additional space.

Role: Field Sales Executive

Location: Field-based (Territory-based role covering Doncaster / Sheffield & Barnsley

Contract: Permanent Full time role – 37.5 hours a week.

Salary: £30,217.40 OTE per annum (Salary made up of £26,276.00 annual base salary Plus £3,941.40 annual commission earning opportunity, paid quarterly based on KPIs) plus Company Car, Fuel Card & Tech Provided

Whats is a Field Sales Executive? About the Role

We're looking for a driven and enthusiastic Field Sales Executive to represent Pladis across major multiple retailers. In this role, you'll champion brand visibility, maximise in‑store execution, and use insights to boost performance across your territory. Key Responsibilities - What will you do?

• Complete daily store visits in line with your journey plan to deliver core KPIs
• Create standout in‑store displays and interventions that drive incremental sales
• Build strong relationships with store colleagues, securing additional space and impactful displays
• Ensure flawless and compliant execution of promotions and product launches
• Capture accurate data and report activities through 360
• Provide valuable feedback on competitor behaviour and market trends
• Use sales insights and alerts to take proactive actions in store

What We’re Looking For?

You don’t need years of sales experience to succeed here. We’re looking for attitude, energy and potential.

• GCSEs in English and Maths
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build quick rapport
• A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Confidence using 360 and Microsoft Office tools
• Understanding of retail systems and promotional execution processes

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in retail, FMCG, or field sales

As a Field Sales Executive you will be

• Confident, self‑motivated, and target driven
• Great at building rapport and influencing in‑store teams
• Organised, reliable, and comfortable working independentlyHappy working in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing retail environment
• IT literate and confident using mobile data capture tools

Must Have:

• A full UK manual driving licence

Nice to Have:

Previous retail, FMCG, or sales experience is desirable— but not essential. If you’re ambitious and eager to learn, we want to hear from you.
