Job summary

This role will be responsible for growing and managing sales within a defined territory (Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex), with a focus on both expanding existing business and developing new opportunities. The position involves driving solution- and value-based selling while positioning the company as a trusted solutions provider.

The Role
  • Manage and develop accounts, ensuring strong engagement and long-term growth.
  • Prospect, qualify, and convert new business opportunities.
  • Apply consultative, value-based sales approaches to demonstrate the company's premium offering.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and activity reports via CRM (HubSpot).
  • Collaborate with the wider sales team, leveraging expertise to secure opportunities.
  • Continuously develop product knowledge, technical expertise, and market awareness.
  • Represent the company as a market leader and trusted solutions partner.

This role requires regular travel across East Anglia.

The Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical sales environment.
  • Strong technical background essential; experience in the defence sector advantageous but not required.
  • Customer-focused, with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid UK driving licence and full right to work in the UK indefinitely.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
The Package

£40,000-£45,000 base salary (depending on experience).
