I'm looking for a driven Field Sales Consultant to join a leading tooling and equipment supplier supporting advanced engineering sectors — including aerospace, defence, renewable energy and automotive. This role focuses on developing and growing business within the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) and Aerospace markets across the UK East region, working consultatively with engineers and buyers to deliver tailored tooling solutions.

Job Description
  • Manage and grow a defined UK East territory, covering postcodes: DN, LN, NG, LE, PE, CB, IP, NR, CO, CM, SS, ME, CT, RM, DA, BR, CR, SE, TN, RH, BN, GU, KT, TW, UB, HA, WD, EN, N, E, IG, AL, SG, LU, MK, NN, OX, HP, SL, RG, DE, S.
  • Specialise in MRO and Aerospace accounts, focusing on electronic and connector tooling applications.
  • Visit customer sites to understand technical requirements and recommend appropriate tooling solutions.
  • Work closely with internal sales to quote, close, and deliver value-based solutions.
  • Develop sector‑specific expertise in target industries and feed back market intelligence.
  • Attend trade shows, customer demos, and supplier training as required.
  • Manage all activity, pipeline, and forecasting through CRM tools.
Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' B2B field sales or technical sales experience, ideally within aerospace, MRO, or other high‑compliance engineering sectors.
  • Strong understanding of electronics, connectors, and tooling applications (crimping, torque, cutting, or power tools).
  • Confident communicator able to translate technical needs into commercial solutions.
  • Proven track record in consultative sales and territory management.
  • Self‑motivated, organised, and comfortable managing a large geographical area.
