This company has already enjoyed significant international success and has gained a strong reputation and brand name in Europe. They are now looking to build on their existing presence in the UK, and are hiring a Field Sales Area Manager to drive sales and growth across the East of England, including Essex, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Hertfordshire.

The company operates in the Automotive Aftermarket sector and your key customers will include car dealerships and body shops. However previous industry experience is not essential as full product training will be provided!

If you want to take full ownership of your sales territory and manage your area as your own franchise business, including hiring and building a strong sales team around you, then this is the one for you…!

What will the role involve?
  • Promoting a fantastic, top quality product which is already a leading brand name in Europe
  • Taking full ownership of your assigned territory, maximising revenue and profitability
  • Undertaking a hands‑on field sales role, visiting customers in your region in person
  • Driving sales with both existing and new customers to achieve growth targets and increase company market share
  • Developing strong technical / product knowledge in order to provide expert product advice to your customers
  • Building out your own team of Field Sales Managers to further drive growth in your assigned territory
What are we looking for?

  • Honed presentation skills
  • Willingness to undertake significant business travel as required for the role
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Previous line management experience is an advantage but not essential
  • Technical experience within the Automotive aftermarket and / or chemicals industry is an advantage but not essential - this company have a fantastic training programme and full product training will be provided!
