Job summary

Kapital 7 Recruitment is assisting a Somerset client to recruit a Pump Service Engineer for a field-based role across the UK. You will perform maintenance, installation, and commissioning of pumping systems, with a focus on mechanical and electrical fault-finding and on-site service reporting.

The ideal candidate has proven pump experience, a solid understanding of electrical components and control panels, and the ability to work across varied sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Pump Service Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical pumping systems.
• Willingness to travel across the UK.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical and electrical fault-finding, servicing and repairs on pumps.
• Inspect, strip down and diagnose faults on pumps and rotating equipment.
• Provide professional technical advice and maintain client relationships.
• Complete accurate service reports and upload site photographs.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations on all sites.
