Job summary

IMSERV is a leading UK data collection and energy metering expert, recruiting a part-time field role in Orkney. You will collect meter readings from commercial customers using a handheld device, with no evenings or weekends.

You'll work outdoors and plan your days with a mentor, travelling across your region to ensure accurate, up-to-date billing and reliable data. A professional, friendly approach is essential.

• Comfortable learning and using handheld device.
• Ability to navigate around Orkney and journey plan.
• Enjoy working outdoors.
• Ability to work to timescales and under pressure.
• Friendly personality with a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Take meter readings from commercial customers (not residential).
• Update readings accurately on the handheld device throughout the day.
• Plan daily work based on locations and manage time efficiently.
• Work independently with a focus on fast, accurate data collection.
