Job summary

Gi Group UK in Maidstone is hiring full-time Meter Readers to work close to home across gas and electricity meters. No prior experience required, and you will be trained on a handheld device while delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll earn £13.45–£14.80 per hour with a 37.5 hour week, plus a potential annual earnings range of £29,000–£35,000 including bonuses. Benefits include a company pension, uniform and PPE, and a generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
• Previous Customer Service experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving data from gas and electricity meters at domestic and commercial sites.
• Enter reads on handheld device and ensure accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service on each visit.
