Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Sheffield is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join its growing engineering services team. The role involves repairing and maintaining machinery at customer sites with a full training programme.

After a two-week paid training, you will gain a City & Guilds qualification and receive a company van and tools, with strong progression opportunities in a stable, expanding business.

Qualifications

• Mechanical fitting / maintenance experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with hydraulics or hoses advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer call-outs to diagnose and repair machinery.
• Install, service, and replace hydraulic hoses and related components.
• Promote company products and services to existing and prospective customers.
• Maintain stock levels within the company service vehicle.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and ensure the van is clean, organised, and fully operational.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and technical documentation accurately.
• Support colleagues across the wider business when required.
• Adhere to all health & safety policies and PPE requirements.
