Field Marketing Manager – Responsibilities

Design and execute local marketing and communications plans to support go‑to‑market strategies.

  • Leverage knowledge of multiple tactics and marketing and communications activities in your plans, including live or virtual events, brand recognition, social media marketing, digital and email lead generation activities, and channel/partner marketing.
  • Brief, enable and collaborate with Sales, Clients, IBM Partners and/or internal stakeholders.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on the impact of marketing and communications activities.

As a Field Marketing Manager, you will build market engagement plans in EMEA North to drive business pipeline and revenue objectives for webMethods & StreamSets based on a deep understanding of clients and the local market. This geography‑focused role serves as the face of marketing & communications to clients, sellers, and business partners, and is externally focused to bring the voice of the client and market insight into IBM.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience in developing, leading, and executing a strategic marketing plan in close collaboration with sales for the allocated geographies and their respective revenue objectives.
  • Able to implement successful omnichannel marketing campaigns that boost lead generation, pipeline creation, and pipeline acceleration through to revenue impact.
  • Experience assessing business and marketing performance and delivering root‑cause analysis using marketing and campaign‑specific performance dashboards and reporting.
  • Ability to analyze situations and implement solutions, or develop new system elements, procedures, or processes.
