The role involves conducting interviews to gather insights on their experiences and choices. Candidates should be flexible with working hours, including early mornings and late evenings. The position offers a competitive pay of £18.37 per hour and allows for a dynamic work environment in one of the world's busiest airports.
Company: Ipsos
Location: London
Salary: £18.37 (inclusive of holiday pay)
Contract: Part time
Imagine it:
It's a lively Saturday morning at Heathrow Airport and you are at the centre of the action as a Field Market Research Interviewer. Your role is vital in gaining insights into the reasons travellers choose Heathrow as a gateway to the world. Armed with your company-provided tablet, your mission is to engage with travellers and staff, asking intuitive questions that delve into their journey experiences and logistical choices.
You’ll work on a variety of seven hour shifts, to cover the whole week. These will be advised in advance, including 6am starts or late finishes at 11pm, with higher hourly pay for unsocial hour shifts or weekend shifts. Forget the hassle of a car; all you need is the ability to reach Heathrow Airport punctually for your shift.
Contract Terms: This is a casual role for the specific Heathrow project, with an estimated term of around three months. There is the possibility of longer term, casual work on other research projects with us, based on your performance.
Transport and Mileage Reimbursement: We value your commitment and ensure that your transport and mileage expenses are reimbursed, making your travel to and from Heathrow seamless. We are not able to reimburse parking at Heathrow airport.

Employee Testimonials:
"Ipsos' culture of curiosity and collaboration creates a positive atmosphere where I've been able to thrive both personally and professionally." - Geoff, Field Market Research Interviewer
"I joined Ipsos in August 2016, after an old friend worked for the company briefly, and highly recommended it to me thinking it would be perfect for me! She was right! I was after something flexible and public facing, after a corporate Sales period…. dealing with the public was my forte. I took to the job very quickly, and soon realised it was very suitable for what I was after, as the flexibility gave me the lifestyle I was looking for, and not working to the 'clock' also appealed. 8 years later I'm still here going strong… I still love the flexibility, and earning a decent wage doing the equivalent of part‑time hours is fantastic. I enjoy the ratio of work, rest & play, and the job also gives me a level of control within it and managing (to a point) my own diary, works well. Although interviewing is a lonely job, I do feel part of a bigger team, with regular online drop‑in sessions and wonderful regional support. Being able to go home, switch off with minimal job stress has also kept me here this long, and whilst knocking on doors can at times provide various challenges, the rewards far outweigh them." - Dave, Field Market Research Interviewer
