Qualifications

We are currently looking for a Field Maintenance Engineer to join our team and help us provide the highest quality repair and maintenance service to the full range of company and third-party products in an efficient and professional manner. This role is remote and will cover the Notts/Derby/Lincolnshire area.

What will you be doing in this role?

As a Field Maintenance Engineer at Tunstall, you will demonstrate exceptional customer relation and interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with a variety of customers from vulnerable to elderly and working on equipment in their homes. You will provide the highest quality repair and maintenance service for Telecare/Telehealth and Assisted Living equipment in an efficient and professional manner.

The Ideal candidate:

Your role will involve delivering high-quality repair and maintenance services for Telecare/Telehealth and Assisted Living equipment. The jobholder will need to demonstrate strong customer relation and interpersonal skills as you work with a diverse range of customers in their homes. Prior experience in a field-based role is desirable but not essential.

Key skills and experience:
  • City & Guilds qualifications in basic electrical installations work and associated safe systems of work or equivalent is desirable (e.g., 16th/17th edition regulations, safety passports).
  • Basic telephone wiring knowledge and understanding of intercom-based communication, access control, CCTV, Fire Alarm or Intruder systems and related installation or modification experience is desirable.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A team player with a flexible approach to work.
  • Good time management and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety issues relating to electrical & installation work is desirable.
