Job summary

ExamWorks Investigation Services Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking field-based Claims Investigators with experience taking statements in police, insurance or legal contexts. You will support accident investigation and fraud prevention, obtaining statements from claimants, defendants, witnesses, and others using tablets, and helping prepare client-ready reports.

The role requires own transport, a tablet, strong IT literacy, GDPR knowledge, and reliable, punctual organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience taking statements in police, insurance or legal contexts.
• Proven ability to investigate road traffic accidents.
• Solid understanding of GDPR and data handling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain CPR compliant statements from claimants, defendants and witnesses.
• Assist on accident investigations and fraud prevention efforts.
• Draft and organise detailed case notes for reports.
• Use tablet-based application to record findings and coordinate with office team.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for individuals with experience of taking statements in a police, insurance or legal capacity to join our team here at EWIS. We have several Nationwide positions to join our expanding team of field-based Claims Investigators.

You will be assisting on cases relating to accident investigation and fraud prevention.

Investigations may include, obtaining CPR compliant statements from claimants, defendants, witnesses, and others, as well as locus reports of accident scenes and tracking and tracing targets whilst working to pre-determined service level agreements.

Your work will be recorded on our state-of-the-art application via a tablet (e.g iPad). Once you have submitted your findings our office-based team will draft a full and detailed report for presentation to our clients.

Your skills and experience should include:

• Good IT literacy
• Experience from an insurance, police, or legal background
• Investigation of road traffic accidents
• Full understanding of GDPR

Processing:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• A persuasive nature with good negotiation skills
• Strong organisation and punctuality
• Health and Safety awareness

The role requires you to have your own transport and tablet (e.g. iPad)
