Overview

Field Installation/Maintenance Engineer - Thetford - £31,000

We are currently seeking Field Installation Engineers on behalf of our client in Thetford. This role will involve driving a company van to residential and commercial sites to complete installation of the company’s products on site. There will be occasional need to stay away from home, so please bear this in mind before applying!

Salary & Hours

Salary: £31,000

Hours: Monday–Friday (40 hours)

Role responsibilities
  • To carry out site installations of the company’s products to customers throughout the UK.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and repair works using hand tools on existing and new products on site.
  • Ensure all works are completed in accordance with Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality policies.
  • Use the company app to ensure all site inspection and audit reports are completed accurately.
  • This role will require travel throughout the UK with some nights away from home.
What we are looking for
  • A professional approach with an ability to work on own initiative and to manage own workload.
  • Maintain consistent and professional attendance, punctuality & personal appearance.
  • Good communication skills within the team and to customers/clients.
  • Knowledge of power tools desirable, however training will be provided.
  • Able to be on the road 3-4 days a week.
