Effective Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to cover Birmingham, the Midlands and surrounding areas. The role is field-based, focusing on service, maintenance and fault finding across commercial and larger domestic systems.

You will perform planned servicing, respond to faults, and carry out repairs, while delivering a reliable on-site service and clear reporting. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2 F-Gas or equivalent.
• Experience in air conditioning service and maintenance.
• Knowledge of split, multi-split and VRF systems.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities.
• Commercial air conditioning experience.
• Experience commissioning systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AHUs/ventilation is beneficial.
• Electrical knowledge for HVAC work is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Planned servicing and maintenance of split, multi-split and VRF systems.
• Respond to reactive breakdowns and diagnose faults.
• Carry out repairs and strive for first-time fix.
• Quote system repairs and complete on-site documentation.
• Support installation and commissioning work when required.
• Complete accurate service reports and ensure safety procedures.
