Job summary
JLB Recruitment Ltd is seeking an HVAC Installation Engineer to deliver on-site installation and commissioning of HVAC systems in commercial and industrial environments. You will handle projects—from preparation to full handover—across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Greater Liverpool with occasional nationwide overnight stays.
Essential qualifications include CSCS, a full UK driving licence, F-Gas Cat 1, and NVQ 2/3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
Qualifications
- Experience installing and commissioning HVAC systems from start to finish.
- Ability to read/interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and RAMS procedures.
Responsibilities
- Install, test and commission HVAC systems across commercial/industrial sites.
- Work from drawings to deliver high-quality installations to standards.
- Coordinate tools, materials, suppliers and subcontractors to stay on schedule.
- Provide updates, maintain records, and support site surveys and planning.
- Ensure on-site professionalism and compliance with safety procedures.
