The ideal candidate must have HSE qualifications such as NEBOSH, prior experience in groundworks or civil engineering, and a robust knowledge of construction practices. This role entails significant responsibilities in ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and promoting safe working environments.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience with a groundworks/civil engineering contractor.
• Have a robust knowledge of construction and sub-contracting.
• Previous experience within the groundworks/construction/house building sector.

Responsibilities

• Report to the regional HSE Manager and support the HSE team.
• Promote implementation of occupational H&S and environmental policies.
• Lead accident/incident investigation and produce reports.

Skills

HSE qualifications such as NEBOSH

Experience in residential projects

Confident in using Microsoft office suite
