Job summary

Nova Recruitment is seeking a Generator Engineer - Power to work on customer sites across the UK, starting from Brigg, Lincolnshire. The role involves installation, commissioning and handover of generator equipment, with travel to various sites.

You will perform mechanical servicing, fault finding, and provide on-site and branch support; 40-hour weeks with overtime as required, occasional nights away from home.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical bias with mechanical (diesel and/or pump) experience.
• Experience in a service technician role or similar.
• Driving license B essential.
• Good oral and written communication skills (essential).

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and hand over generator equipment to customers.
• Carry out maintenance inspections and repairs at customer sites or branch locations.
• Provide guidance to other operations team members and support on faults.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in project preparation across UK sites.
• Travel UK-wide, with some overnight stays as required.
