An innovative renewable energy company is seeking a dedicated Field Engineer to join their Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) team. This is a great role for a Field Engineer working for a high profile renewable energy company on an initial 12 month contract. The role is on site 5 days a week and the role will be joining a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) team.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment.
Conduct thorough system troubleshooting and fault diagnosis to ensure optimal performance.
Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all site activities and technical procedures.
Uphold and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards at all times.
Provide technical support and insights to project stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement.
Assist in project handover and acceptance processes, ensuring all technical and operational requirements are met.
Experience Needed:
Proven engineering experience in a relevant field
Demonstrated hands-on experience in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects
Possession of a valid Low Voltage (LV) Certificate.
Valid CSCS Card
Willingness and ability to work 5 days a week on site
