Job summary

UFORCE, a defence-technology company, is seeking a Mission Software Specialist to deploy, operate, and sustain software-enabled autonomous systems in real-world missions. You will bridge customers, field operations, product, and engineering, owning deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and operational readiness in the field.

Qualifications

• Install, configure, validate, update, and roll back software at customer sites.
• Prepare readiness testing, maintain documentation and prevent misconfigurations.
• Diagnose and resolve software, network, compute, and integration issues in the field.
• Capture logs and reproduce steps; produce clear bug reports for product needs.
• Train operators and maintainers to use and troubleshoot the system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mission-ready deployments by installing, configuring, validating, updating, and rolling back software at field locations.
• Keep systems operational in the field by diagnosing and resolving software, network, compute, and integration issues.
• Provide engineering with actionable evidence via logs and bug reports; translate operator feedback into requirements.
• Train operators to use, troubleshoot, and sustain the system safely and independently.
• Develop repeatable deployments by improving baselines, checklists, and automation.
• Build trust through technical ownership and clear communication with customers and internal teams.
