Job summary

Mploy Group is seeking a hands-on Field Engineer to deploy and commission advanced sensing systems in real-world industrial sites, across R&D, product engineering, software, data and customer operations. You will translate field observations into engineering feedback and contribute to product improvements.

The role combines field trials, site surveys, installation and data validation with UK travel and a hybrid work setup from Paignton or Bristol.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Instrumentation or related field is required.
• Around 3+ years' experience in Field Engineering, Test Engineering or experimental R&D.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver field trials at customer sites and test facilities.
• Carry out site surveys and prepare equipment for deployment.
• Install, align, calibrate and commission complex sensing systems.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to capture field feedback.
