Overview

A technically skilled and customer-focused Field Engineer is required to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of compressed air systems and related pneumatic equipment. The role involves working directly with clients to ensure optimal performance of air compressors and associated technologies, delivering high-quality service and technical expertise on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, and maintain air compressors and pneumatic systems at customer sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in compressed air equipment.
  • Perform routine servicing and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct site surveys and provide technical recommendations for system improvements.
  • Maintain accurate service records and report findings to the engineering team.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during all field operations.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on system usage and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in field service engineering, ideally within pneumatics or industrial machinery.
  • Strong understanding of compressed air systems, mechanical components, and electrical controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel to various client locations.
  • Engineering qualification (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
