A leading energy distribution company is seeking a Field Engineer to work within Network Operations in Purfleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance, construction, and fault management in the Eastern Region. Key qualifications include ONC in Electrical Engineering and a valid driving licence. A competitive salary of £54,166 - £80,574 per annum plus benefits such as a pension plan and additional leave is offered.
This Field Engineer will report to the Lead Field Engineer and will work within Network Operations based in our Purfleet office. You will be a permanent employee.
You will attract a salary of £54,166 - £80,574 per annum and a bonus of 3%.

To work as part of a team within the Eastern Region geographical area. Also you will support Capital Programme, Connections, and Faults within the area. This includes liaison with customers, network operations and control, networks planning and management of field staff and management of contractors.
Principal Accountabilities:
Nature and Scope:
You will be an important contributor to the team manage the delivery of all Maintenance, Capital Programme, Connections and Faults work within a geographical area. Together with the scheduling team, Work Planner, Field Staff Supervisor and Field Staff you will deliver an excellent service to the customer, ensuring we meet the requirements of our Guaranteed Service Standards.
All new employees appointed to the Field Engineer roles within Network Operations will include a contractual requirement to undertake standby for a minimum period of 20 years, or up to the age of 55 whichever comes first.
Qualifications:
Managers and supervisors carry both legal and company responsibilities for ensuring the health and safety of their employees, those under their control and those who might be affected by the work undertaken, i.e. public, visitors and employees of other organisations. Employees need to be aware that for some craft and operational roles that work at height, or use fall arrest devices, there is an upper weight limit of 116Kg due to maximum safe working load of the safety equipment that is used.
