Working across London and surrounding areas, you’ll travel between sites, depots, and offices, ensuring every project runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standard.

What you’ll be doing as a Customer Performance Partner

In this role, you’ll take ownership of a variety of field-based activities to support new connections, mains installations, and wastewater network projects - ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Thames Water’s high standards.

  • Carry out field surveys for new connections and mains, providing accurate data to enable error‑free designs.
  • Conduct water regulations inspections to ensure compliance with required standards.
  • Attend site and traffic management meetings, supporting the smooth delivery of connections and related works.
  • Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver excellent service.
  • Inspect Section 104 Sewer Adoptions, Buildi Over, and new sewer connections, providing timely reports.
  • Meet with contractor teams to carry out Health & Safety audits and promote safe working practices.
What you should bring to the role
  • Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential for this role, as travel across the region is a key part of the job.
  • We are ideally looking for someone with traffic management, water regulations, knowledge of main laying, and water networks experience.
  • Relevant technical qualifications are highly advantageous but not essential.
  • Working knowledge of the clean and wastewater network would be desirable, particularly Health & Safety and Streetworks standards.
  • Knowledge of NRSWA / TMA and pipe‑laying/pipeline construction or some background in the plumbing industry ideally.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Hours

38 hours per week, Mon‑Fri 7:30‑15:36

What’s in it for you?
  • A competitive salary from £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus company van, phone and fuel card.
  • 24 days of holiday, increasing to 28 days with service.
  • Generous pension scheme through AON.
  • Performance‑related pay plan directly linked to company performance measures and targets.
