A leading service provider is seeking a Service Engineer to handle offsite service, maintenance, and customer support activities. You'll engage in commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting across the UK and internationally, with in-house training provided. A full car driving license is required, and expenses are covered for trips. This role demands flexibility and good communication skills, as you'll represent the company professionally.
The Service Engineer is responsible for offsite service, maintenance, and customer support activities. While in the factory, they will also be involved in the assembly and testing of products manufactured by the client, to meet the company’s order book and stock requirements.
This is a diverse role which involves visiting sites, both in the UK and internationally, where the company’s products are located to complete commissioning, servicing, and maintenance activities. Responsibilities include:
The Service Engineer will receive in-house training on all products, including initial involvement in equipment build, testing, and site visits. A company van will be supplied, and a full car driving license is required.
As client sites are spread across the UK, the Service Engineer will be away from home some weeks, Monday to Friday. Full expenses are paid to cover all costs when away from home. A current passport is also required.
