Job summary

Mears Group is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our field-based team covering Dundee & Angus. You will install, repair, inspect and test electrical systems in tenanted properties, including kitchen and bathroom wiring, wiring accessories replacements and consumer unit changes.

A strong focus on safety, quality, and communication with residents is essential. The role requires City & Guilds Level 3 electrical installations (AM2) and 2391 testing or equivalent, plus a valid UK driving licence

Qualifications

• Proven experience in installing, fault finding and maintaining electrical systems in social housing.
• Knowledge of first fix and second-fix electrical installations.
• City & Guilds / Level 3 electrical installations including AM2.
• 2391 Inspection and Testing (2394/2395) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, repairs, inspection and testing in tenanted properties.
• Include consumer unit changes and wiring in kitchens and bathrooms.
• Ensure installations are safe and fit for continued use.
