Job summary

Generator Power, the UK’s leading generator rental company, seeks Electricians for field-based roles in Normanton. You’ll handle generators from 10kVA to 1250kVA, work safely from 230V to 690V, and perform fault finding and rectification on hire fleet and customer equipment.

The position includes paperwork, asset protection, and ongoing electrical compliance. Applicants should have GCSEs, 18th Edition, ECS Gold Card, City & Guilds 2330/2360 levels, and NVQ Level 3.

Qualifications

Must hold ECS Card and 18th Edition Regulations.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
City & Guilds 2330/2360 Levels 2 & 3 certificates.
GCSEs or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Operate with generators from 10kVA to 1250kVA.
Work safely with voltages from 230V to 690V.
Primarily field-based role with occasional travel.
Fault finding, diagnosis and rectification on hire fleet and customer equipment.
Prepare equipment for hire.
Complete and submit all company paperwork per procedures.
Safeguard company assets.
Maintain knowledge of electrical legislation.
