A leading delivery service provider is seeking a Resident Electrical and Maintenance Engineer based in Wolverhampton. The position involves using your electrical and mechanical expertise to maintain systems across commercial sites. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing faults, performing maintenance, and guiding colleagues effectively. Candidates must hold the relevant electrical certifications and demonstrate customer service experience. This permanent full-time role also includes a standby allowance and a company vehicle for site travel.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Electrical certification such as the 18th Edition.
• Possess full electrical City & Guilds qualifications including 2382 and 2391 Testing & Inspection.
• Demonstrated experience in planned maintenance of both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Skilled in fault finding and diagnosis, with ability to advise others across various systems.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance of electrical systems across various commercial sites.
• Diagnose faults and provide expert advice on equipment like roller shutter doors.
• Perform basic plumbing tasks.
• Provide technical guidance to colleagues and customers.
