Job summary

Ipsum is seeking a Field Manager to lead the planning and field delivery of SPEN & ENWL projects. You will work with the project management team to shape strategies, represent the workplace, and drive safe, on-time, on-budget execution across multiple sites.

You will ensure customer-focused service, manage incidents, and collaborate with support teams to maintain progress against contractual targets. A strong background in site supervision and KPI-driven performance is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supervising sites and delivery oversight.
• SMSTS/CCNSG qualification is desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Knowledge of preparing and supporting payment applications for projects or contracts.
• Strong verbal and numerical reasoning abilities.
• Ability to analyse data to inform decisions.
• Evidence of implementing improvements and efficiency gains.
• Familiarity with KPI measurements and target compliance.
• IT literate with MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all incidents are reported and investigated with remedies implemented.
• Survey and assist in quotations for projects based on contract schedules of rates.
• Identify and resolve problems quickly before they escalate.
• Work with the support team to ensure delivery programmes are in place and tracked.
• Comply with Ipsum Power and client policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation in working methods.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and resolve issues early.
• Carry out site safety audits.
• Attend site progress meetings and communicate updates.
• Price checking for materials and plant to ensure best value.
• Schedule resources for Ipsum Live Jobs with necessary safety documentation on site.
