Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) seeks a Field CTO to lead senior client engagements across EMEA, shaping AI infrastructure strategy with C-suite executives and driving demand for WWT capabilities. You will engage at the highest levels to secure major AI infrastructure investments.

You will combine deep technical credibility with commercial instinct and a strong boardroom presence, guiding strategic partners and mentoring senior technical talent.

Qualifications

• 15–20+ years in technology with genuine, demonstrable AI credibility.
• 5+ years in a client-facing senior technical leadership role (Field CTO, CTO, VP Engineering or Distinguished Engineer).
• Strong commercial acumen and boardroom presence with ability to shape deals.

Responsibilities

• Provide C-suite advisory on AI infrastructure strategy and business-case inputs.
• Shape demand through executive relationships, speaking engagements and thought leadership.
• Position WWT capabilities in pre-sales pursuits and strategic account plans.
• Advise clients on AI infrastructure technology landscape incl. hardware, software and end-customer demands.
• Develop and present WWT’s point of view at industry events and partner forums.
• Collaborate with strategic partners on joint client engagements.
• Mentor and develop senior technical talent.
