Job summary

Socotec UK & Ireland is seeking a Field Crew Operative based in Leeds, working on wastewater and water projects across the UK. You'll install, calibrate and maintain flow monitors and water-quality instruments, often in confined spaces or river environments, supporting your Field Crew Leader.

Travel across the UK is common; accommodation and meals are paid, and training is provided to develop your technical skills and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Flexibility towards hours and working away from home; accommodation and meals paid by the company.
• Ability to work well within a team and with a variety of people, as our teams swap and change.
• Strong work ethic, positive and can-do attitude.
• Comfortable working around raw sewage and in confined spaces.
• Clean and valid driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Install and retrieve monitoring equipment at client sites
• Conduct calibrations, collect water samples, and ensure accurate field measurements
• Perform in-situ equipment calibration and maintain project documentation
• Follow all company procedures and safety protocols
• Survey client infrastructure and maintain company equipment
• Participate in training programs and special projects
