Deputy Manager – Park Gate Nursery

Grandir UK, part of the Great Place To Work certified group, is looking for a Deputy Manager with Level 3 or above in Early Years to join our team at Park Gate Nursery. This role supports the Nursery Manager in ensuring all complaints and concerns are resolved promptly and reported to the Regional Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Nursery Manager with the effective day‑to‑day management of the nursery.
  • Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff.
  • Support, supervise, train, and appraise all staff to ensure delivery of high‑quality childcare practice.
  • Support the Nursery Manager to identify training needs; develop training plans and evaluate training undertaken by staff.
  • Assist the Nursery Manager in delivering agreed occupancy targets.
  • Maintain effective methods of communication with children, staff, parents, and carers.
