Job summary

Cole Connections Ltd is recruiting a Renewable Engineer to join a specialist renewable energy business delivering heat pump, Solar PV and battery storage projects. The role is field-based across Surrey, London and surrounding areas and is permanent and full-time, with a salary of £48,000 - £58,000 DOE plus company van and fuel card.

You will be hands-on, inspecting work on site, supporting engineers and ensuring installations meet required standards, while developing towards QA and project

Qualifications

• Experience with air source heat pump installation, commissioning and fault-finding.
• Knowledge of domestic heating systems and controls.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on with engineers on renewable energy installations.
• Install, commission, service and fault-find air source heat pump systems.
• Support Solar PV and battery storage installations.
• Carry out technical and quality inspections across projects.
• Ensure workmanship meets design, manufacturer and industry standards.
• Identify defects and oversee remedial work.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and subcontractors.
• Assist Project Managers with technical and site issues.
• Review schematics, specifications and technical information.
• Complete inspection, commissioning and service documentation.
• Conduct professional customer handovers.
